Let's Get Acquainted
I felt compelled to write my story about being a caregiver after seeing so many others in the same situation, hearing about the struggles and heartbreaks along with the rewarding moments. My dad was only with me for eight months but it was a challenging and difficult eight months. Something I was not prepared for. I wanted to share the good with the bad so others in a similar situation can feel some comfort.
I am a retired equestrian and municipal worker. I have had many different careers through the years but being a caregiver to my grandchildren and my dad has been my greatest accomplishment.
